A spokesman for Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin says that the office should be able to use outside counsel that questions the office's compliance with the state's Freedom of Information Act. The Department of Homeland Security announced this morning that hundreds of thousands of undocumented young people, who meet certain criteria, will be provided relief from criminal deportation and allowed to work in the United States. We get reaction from a state immigrant civil rights leader.
More than 1,800 animals, about 36 percent of intakes, were euthanized at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter last year. A group of residents formed “No-Kill Fayetteville” to pressure city administrators to lower that rate.
