He's got a show coming up at Nightbird Books on Dickson Street in Fayetteville Saturday night before embarking on a Southeast tour. Geoffrey Brock, a professor of creative writing and translation at the University of Arkansas, recently translated Pinocchio for the New York Review of Books. The translation, out since 2009 in an adult edition, has recently been issued as a lavishly illustrated large format children's edition.
