The Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation recently awarded this rural advocacy organization a $175,000. Rural Community Alliance will use a portion of the funds for a community revitalization project in Southeast Arkansas. The new education standard known as Common Core continues to be introduced into public schools across Arkansas, this year in the 3rd through 8th grades.
