Ozark Regional Transit is launching it's new route 620 today, which will connect small towns throughout Washington County to one another, and to the larger transit system in the region. The two GOP candidates for Lieutenant Governor that will face off in a runoff election later this month sound off on their views regarding medical marijuana. And, ArcBest Corporation announces its plans to build a new headquarters at Chaffee Crossing, an investment worth $30 million.

The rainy weather has caused a delay in planting for some farmers, while late freezes are causing concern for others with winter wheat crops. The state Republican party gets permission to intervene in a lawsuit regarding rules for absentee voters as part of the state's Voter ID law. And Fort Smith directors consider a set of rules regarding how city employees interact with city residents.

The combination of ice and snow was responsible for changes to schedules all over the state, including a delay in the trial of former Arkansas treasurer Martha Shoffner.
Still no House vote on the Private Option, though a House committee forwarded a Senate bill to leave the Lt. Governor's office vacant until November, and Axciom made it's third and potentially final round of layoffs, expected to save the company between 20 and 30 million dollars.
