To end our summer series on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in Arkansas we examine a little known aspect of the health reform law that will greatly expand opportunities for thousands of Arkansans requiring long term health care to receive help, not in an institution, but at home. The initiative is called "Community First Choice Option."

Ahead on this edition of Ozarks at Large, new enrollment numbers at the University of Arkansas; university officials announced this morning another record year for enrollment at the state's flagship campus. Plus, the testing isn't as often as it used to be, but there is still research being conducted on Arkansas deer for chronic wasting disease. University of Arkansas officials this morning announced that while the numbers are still preliminary, all signs point to the continued trend of larger enrollment numbers.
