Last Friday, the Hope Supply Center, a service of the Breast Cancer Society, opened on Walton Blvd. The center will offer supplies, such as wigs and bras, to those affected by breast cancer. Becca says that there will be plenty of opportunities to hear about architecture as a new lecture series begins at Crystal Bridges.
Bo Bartlett and Betsy Eby collaborated on a documentary about their years-long art road trip. They discussed the project while at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art last month.

And, we take a trip along the Buffalo River nearly a year after a controversial swine breeding operation began business.
Our Ozarks at Large “bird man” Joe Neal takes a bird poll on behalf of the proposed Mt. Kessler preserve west of Fayetteville. Joe Neal is coauthor of “Arkansas Birds,” published by the University of Arkansas Press. His latest book “In the Province of Birds, a Western Arkansas Memoir,” is published by Half-Acre Press.

The Arkansas Department of Health yesterday confirmed the 100th case of rabies in the state for 2013 was an infected cat in Boone County. The Fayetteville City Council approves a resolution supporting action on climate change by the U.S. Congress. New signs being installed around Beaver Lake aim to raise awareness about water quality for the area's primary drinking water source. And, though burn bans are in effect for much of the state, campfires are still being allowed, for now, at the Buffalo National River.
